The 7 Coolest Celebrity Fashion Labels

Nowadays is seems like every celebrity is launching their own fashion label. But you've gotta watch out. Some brands are far better than other. Here are our list of the Top 7 Celebrity Fashion Labels.

7th place: L.A.M.B.

By: Gwen Stefani
Picture: Mod Polo Tank Dress - $231.00

We have to admit that we love Gwen Stefani. Ever since she "started" the hole Harajuku-trend, she has been the girl you wanna look like. And now the music star has two brands - Harajuku Lovers and L.A.M.B. (Love Angel Music Baby). L.A.M.B. is influenced by rock, punk and rasta. And it rocks.

6th place: Rock & Republic

By: Victoria Beckham
Picture: Keagan Crop Leather Bomber Jacket - $349.00

Victoria Beckham is probably one of the most famous women on the planet. At least when she is being seen with her husband David Beckham. Ever since Victoria made world success with the Spice Girls, it was obvious that the girl had a passion for fashion. Her superb clothing line Rock & Republic just proves that. She also has another fashion brand, named dVb. But R&R is the masterpiece.

5th place: William Rast

By: Justin Timberlake
Picture: Lisa Long Short Desperado - $165.00

Being the coolest male popstar on the planet, Justin just had to make his own clothing line. We're glad he did. His clothes looks tremendeous. Justin has managed to bring the boyband-world and the hip hop-world together, just as he managed to make sneakers look cool with suits. The last achievement is the biggest one.

4th place: Rocawear

By: Jay-Z
Picture: S/S Concrete Polo

The hip hop mogul Jay-Z always knows how to make a profit. Unlike 50 Cent, he also knows how to make clothes that look smashing. That is if you like the hip hop style - baggy pants and oversized shirts style. We do. Sometimes.

3rd place: Billionaire Boys Club

By: Pharrell Williams and Nigo
Picture: BBC Jump Jacket (Olive Drab)

You've gotta love Pharrell. The man is a music genious, a terrific fashion designer and the man that made Julian Casablancas of The Strokes sing in a non-rock song. Pharell's fashion brand BBC are produced in very limited quantities, which makes everyone want BBC a little more. Also, check out Ice Cream, the sister brand of BBC.

2nd place: Twenty8Twelve

By: Sienna Miller
Picture: From the spring/summer 2008 collection

Sienna Miller is one of our favourite actors. Ever since she first really caught our eye with her role in Alfie, the blond beauty has been on our mind. Sienna runs the tremendeous fashion label Twenty8Twelve with Savannah, her sister. Savannah has worked with top designers like Alexander McQueen. The name Twenty8Twelve comes from Sienna's birthday - she turned 25 on the 28th of December.

1st place: Mblem

By: Mandy Moore
Picture: Pea Coat - $265.00

Actress Mandy Moore released her fashion label Mblem in 2006. The brand has a sophisticated and chic collection that'll take your breath away. Check it out. You're gonna love it.

A Cool New Brand

Author: The Fashhh Team

Max Has Launched His Brand

Our good friend Maximilliam Hug has launched his fashion brand HELLO WORLD WE ARE ELECTRO. And it looks great. We had to talk to the guy.

The tees are heavily electro-inspired.

Electro couture.

Yes. We are electro too.

Hi Max! Tell us about your brand.
- Hi! HELLO WORLD WE ARE ELECTRO is the expression of our music taste and the love to urban club culture. It's not just about clothing and accessoires for club kids, vinly lovers and electro addicts. Music is very important for us because you can forget the everyday life while listening to music, especially electronic genres like electro, minimal or house. So it's some kind of freedom feeling and it tells the world that we are electro.

Tell us about how you got the idea of the brand?

- Actually I'm a student at high school who wanna study fashion design. I started to print some tees 2 years ago and the designs became more and more about electro. So one day last summer I had the idea for HELLO WORLD WE ARE ELECTRO as a t-shirt and campaign with stickers. The first idea was only to express myself about my love to electronic music and clubs. I recognized that there so many people wearing tees with designs like "I love NY" or something like this and HELLO WORLD WE ARE ELECTRO would be the perfect expression for us. After some month I got much positve feedback about this design and I thought about creating something bigger with HWWAE.
So I contacted my friend Romibello (he is designer in his own media agency) and asked him if he is interested in starting a new label with me.

Are you planning to launch anything other than t-shirts?
- Sure. We're offering Electro Shades at the moment aka Shutter Shades from Kanye West but there totally unknown in Germany (I don't know why?) and we think they're a very nice accesoire for partys. We're working on new accessoires at the moment which are top secret right now

Where do you get your inspiration?
- I'm not really sure where I get my inspiration. I think I get my inspiration everywhere in the world. Maybe in clubs, from music or travels. Sometimes I have the thing I call "creative flash" where I got designs for 4 or 5 designs and day.

What's the most important thing for you when you're designing?

- Most imporant for me is that our designs have a message for the world. The guy who wears it can identify with his or her t-shirt.

What plans do you have for the brand in the future?

- New accesoires, new tees and world domination. Haha.

A Arty-Cool Tee

It's Tee Time!

This is a t-shirt you should love. For real.

This tee is called Give Earth Chances Baby Tee, and it has a supercool sphere graphic on the front. It kind of reminds us of both electro influences and the Japanese flag (which is a crazy, yet very cool mix!). If you have $82.00 to spend, you should head to Shopbob right now and save your own day.

Santogold, Pharrell And Casablancas Team Up

Author: The Fashhh Team
Date: 2008-06-09 23:16

The Converse Dream Team

Converse has gathered the unlikely mix of Santogold, Pharrell and Julian Casablancas of The Strokes for their centennial celebration underway. The promo campaign is called Three Artists, One Song. The song is "My Drive Thru", that does'nt sound very Strokesy, so we can only guess that Pharrell is in charge of this one. Listen to it at Hypem.

If you don't know who's who in this picture, you need to refresh your CD-collection. (Hint: Rockers prefer skinny jeans, nerds don't)

Stylefile: Adele Cochrane

Author: The Fashhh Team
Date: 2008-06-06 10:57

This Girl Has Got Style!

17 year old Adele Cochrane from Australia have managed to stay on top of Fashhh top list since our start. We had to know what the secret behind her good style is.

Adele

Tell us something about yourself!
- Well, I’m studying art for VCE and love painting. it's my other love apart from music and fashion. They all kind of tie in together for me.

Describe your style!
- My style is a bit of high waisted everything, paired with bright colours. i like to up the contrast factor with either colour or texture. And lots of accessories! i like to look for cute, prim, retro kind of things to wear.

What do you think of Fashhh.com?
- Fashhh.com is a lovely place on the internet! Everybody gives lots of feedback. It a very friendly atmosphere and has some extremely well dressed people.

What is fashion for you?

- Fashion for me is getting carried away with a picture in your head and embodying that in what you wear and do and basically just building on your outfit until you feel a little ridiculous and over the top. It’s about having fun, really.

What is the worst thing a person can wear?

- The worst thing someone can wear is tracksuit pants. I have never ever liked them. People wear them to go down to the supermarket and hang round at home, yes, but why can’t you wear jeans instead? I also have a great dislike of flares.

What do you think of Crocs?
- Crocs are a practical solution for lots of people. They just don’t happen to look very good. They can be kind of cute on little kids sometimes. But mums from the suburbs should stay away from them.

One fashion advice for the world?
- Fashion advice from the world huh? I guess it is… take inspiration from anywhere you can get it. Just take in as much as you can. And have an idea of the things you like when you go shopping.

A friend of Fashhh, Andreas Mueller, is one of the guys behind the supberb site Superfuture. There you can find over 4000 brutual independent reviews over shops, restaurants and so on. Check it out next time you're planning a trip. Maybe you'll find just the shop you have been looking for all your life.
